Menu Planning Monday. Jan. 23

My Grandmother's Everyday China
If you know me well, you know I am not a planner. One of my best friends always laughs with me because I often forget to start a crock-pot recipe in the morning and around 5:00 pm suddenly realize my mistake.  The last couple of weeks, I've taken time to think through a menu. I am willing to admit that planning our meals for the week has made my life a little bit easier.

Monday- Sweet and Spicy Bacon Chicken from Full Bellies, Happy Kids. Serve with broccoli and potatoes.
Tuesday- Tuscan Vegetable Soup from Cooking Channel. Serve with salad and garlic bread..
Wednesday- Leftovers from Monday
Thursday- Penne with Artichokes from Chicho's Kitchen. Serve with salad.
Friday - School Event=No Cooking (hooray!)
Saturday-Sleepover at our house--order pizza.
Sunday- Vegetarian "Meat"loaf from Branny Boils Over. Serve with peas and carrots.

So here it little plan for the week!
I'd love to know what's cooking at your house! Feel free to leave a link in the comments section.

  1. I love it, Elizabeth! I meal plan for the week also. I love looking around at other moms' meal plans for ideas. I have not figured out how to link the recipes. We are having: Sun-Meatloaf & Mashed Potatoes, Mon-Sausage & Pepper soup, Tue-Crock Pot Sesame Chicken, Wed-Mac & Cheese, Thu-Meatball Subs & Fri-Pizza night. I never plan Sat night...we either cook or go out. Bon Appetit!

  2. You are sounding very organised Elizabeth, I feel ashamed at my lack or mealtime organisation! I am however trying this tonight
As for the rest of the week it is all a bit hazy!!!
